Would it be possible to speak with one or both of you regarding my termination? I believe there are elements of it that relate directly to Faculty rights and protections.

I never received any response back. (I would be happy to share the original, if anyone doubts it's authenticity.)
I was told that a few days later there was a gathering of DSU faculty where these two informed their peers that they had been show evidence that supported President Williams decision to terminate me, and that they wanted to issue a public statement to that effect. (I'm sorry to belabor the point - but this is without either of them talking to me.) I assume they did not get the support they were hoping for, because the statement was never issued.
I would be delighted if anyone who was present at that meeting would clarify what occurred.

2.1 The purpose of the Faculty Senate is to serve Dixie State University and further the fulfillment of its mission by providing an authoritative voice for faculty; working to improve the general welfare of faculty; fostering professionalism among the faculty; supporting the Academic Freedom rights of faculty, students, and the institution itself; promoting communication among the faculty, administrators, staff, students, and community members; and encouraging good fellowship among the faculty.

3.1 Subject to the authority of and any required approvals from the University President, the Board of Trustees, and the State of Utah Board of Regents, the Faculty Senate serves the following roles:

3.1.2 The representative body for the faculty of the institution in matters relating to shared governance in the academic administration and operation of the University. Shared governance includes meaningful participation in the following areas:

3.1.2.4 Faculty employment status and related matters such as appointments, reappointments, nonrenewal of appointments, terminations, and the granting of post-probationary status.
